Along the boardwalk, visitors can find strategically placed benches, offering opportunities to rest and take in the beautiful ocean views. Moreover, parking is available along one side of the boardwalk, ensuring convenient access for those arriving by car. The park features picnic tables, multiple pavilions, a sand volleyball court, and a children’s playground with swings and slides. Wildlife is abundant here—rabbits roam freely, with the chance to spot a dozen on a good day, while a flock of white ibis can often be seen feeding in the grassy areas.

I love surf fishing! There’s nothing like the thrill of casting into the waves, never knowing what might bite. On my last outing, I caught the elusive swimming speckled crab—the little thief that’s notorious for stealing bait right off the hook. It was satisfying to reel it in for once! In another outing, I landed a Black Margate, a solid catch known for its strong fight and distinctive black-and-silver coloring. Every trip to the shore brings a new adventure, and this one didn’t disappoint!
